Leah Lande ’89
Dr. Lande is a Pulmonary and Critical Care physician at Lankenau Medical Center, where she is the Program Director of the Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship, Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Jefferson Medical College and Clinical Assistant Professor at the Lankenau Institute for Medical Research.
She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in 1997, after which she completed her training in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Cornell Medical Center, where she also served as Chief Resident in Internal Medicine and was on the faculty as an Assistant Professor of Medicine. During her time at Cornell and at Lankenau, she has won multiple awards for excellence in teaching.
For the last 10 years, Dr. Lande has been studying pulmonary nontuberculous mycobacterial infection, focusing predominantly on environmental sources of infection as well as host factors leading to disease susceptibility. She also practices general Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, and enjoys spending much of her time with medical students, residents and fellows in training.
She is a 1989 graduate of Akiba Hebrew Academy and is the proud mother of three Barrack students, Jessie, Eden and Noa.
